What I Can Do

Excellence in Team Work

Many of my courses as well as my job required me to work with teams to complete tasks and projects. Through this experience I have developed the ability to work exceptionally well in a team setting.

Communication

Though I used to fear communicating with people, especially older adults, my job as a bartender serving politicians really helped me to further my communication skills. I also enrolled in courses designed to target this area that I once needed work in.

Web Design

I have always had an interest in web design. I began taking courses in high school that focused on Adobe Photoshop. I then continued to develop these skills in college and truly enjoy graphic and web design!

Projects

What I’ve Done

Student Project

April 2016

I had taken 4 years of Adobe Photoshop classes in high school, so when I got the chance to take a graphic design course in college, I jumped on it. However, I was not expecting how different inDesign would be from Photoshop. This was a project that I designed using inDesign, it was extremely challenging but worth it! Click the link to view a PDF of the project.

Student Project

August - December 2016

For this project, we worked with a team of four for an entire semester on a chosen project. We chose to redesign the local animal shelter's webpage, as they did not have time to do it on their own. Click on the link to see our results!

Personal Project

April 2012

This was a personal project I worked on during my free time senior year in high school. I had been working with Adobe Photoshop for 4 years at this point and was very happy with the results. Click to see a PDF of my project!
